Situation:
You are on Webtrends 8.0d and would like to upgrade to the most recent version.

 

Solution:

The upgrade path from 8.0d would be:

8.0d > 8.5a > 8.7d 

 You will want to make sure to analyze all profiles on each version prior to upgrading to the next version.  We recommend a week per version.  If you are using GeoTrends, you will want to download the correct version of the Geotrends.dat file from http://www.webtrends.com/support/mla8gen.aspx

As always, create backups before starting the process.
